\ ExplorerTip™ File PreviewExplorerTips are popup information windows that appear when you hover over a Power Drawers menu item. When hovering over text or image files, ExplorerTips also show a preview of the contents of the file. Viewing previews and other ExplorerTip information just by hovering over a file makes it much easier to find a file you want and decide whether to open it.
Text and Graphics Preview
When you hover over a
text or graphics file in a Power Drawers menu, the ExplorerTip will display a
preview of the contents of the file. This is a powerful time-saving feature that
lets you determine if you want to open a file just by hovering over it. The graphics preview shows a thumbnail image and the pixel size of the full image when you hover over graphics files in a Power Drawers menu. Graphics preview is available for GIF, JPG, BMP, ICO, EMF and WMF files. This saves a lot of time when looking for images.
Similarly, the text preview is displayed for standard text files such as .TXT, .INI, .BAT, etc., source code files in C, C++, BASIC and other languages and also HTML web files with special parsing for each type. Power Drawers also shows a text preview for undefined file types that are really text files.
