\ Custom Folder Icons
Power Drawers
makes it quick and easy to set a custom icon for any folder. Just right-click on
any folder and select the Options..
menu item to configure that folder with its Options Dialog. You can set custom
icons for folders to give you a visual cue about what type of things are in the
folder (like Accounting or Game Stuff) which makes it quicker to find things you
are looking for. Of course, you can also set custom folder icons just for fun to
reflect your style or personality.
See
Folder Views for more ways to customize folders.
Power Drawers can also be used to customize the following desktop Shell Folders:
My Computer, Network Neighborhood/Network Places, Recycle Bin, My Documents. Power Drawers
comes with an icon theme which you could choose to apply to these
folders to give them a richer, 3D appearance, but you can also customize shell
folders to have any icon you choose or leave their appearance with the system
defaults. You may wish to give your Shell Folders a corporate look (using icons
with your company logo) or make your desktop reflect your personality with more
unusual icons.

Popup
Folder Description
You can also set popup description text for any folder to make it
easier to tell what’s in a folder before opening it. For example, the desktop
folders created by PowerOrganizer each have a description filled in. A
folder’s description will be shown on the
when you hover over the folder in a Power Drawers menu. If you have Windows Shell
v4.71 or greater, you will also see such folder descriptions when hovering over
a folder on the desktop.
