Features \ Free & Used Space in Folders & Drives
Power Drawers makes it much easier to determine how much space a folder takes up and as well as getting free and used space information about drives. This is very useful when checking to see if you have enough room left on your hard drive and when deciding which folders to delete when you need to get more free space.

Folder/Drive ExplorerTips
The quickest way to get information about folders or drives is the popup ExplorerTip that appears when hovering over an item in a Power Drawers menu. If you hover over a folder, the ExplorerTip will show how much space the folder is using and how many subfolders and files it contains. If you hover over a drive, the ExplorerTip shows how much free and used space there is on the drive as both a percentage and absolute byte count.

Folder/Drive Options Dialog
The Options Dialog For a folder or drive will show the icon for the folder, the name, custom view settings and detailed statistics: number of files and subfolders, how much room the folder consumes and the used and free space of the drive where the folder is located. As long as accurate information is available from the system for the drive that contains the folder, a drive information pie chart is displayed, similarly to the drive info pie chart shown in Explorer’s property sheet for a local or network drive.

If the folder is not a drive itself, then the pie chart shows the used and free space on the drive and the slice of the pie chart that this folder is taking up. In the screenshot on the right, C: drive is shown as 15.4% free, 84.6% used. 25.8% of the used space is used by the Windows folder. The folder can be renamed on this dialog and there is a Folder or Drive Properties button that will bring up the Windows Explorer property sheet for that folder or drive. The general Power Drawers configuration options are also shown on other tabs of the property sheet in case you also wish to change any Power Drawers settings.
