\ PowerOrganizer
The Power Drawers Desktop PowerOrganizer turns a
cluttered, disorganized desktop into a self-organizing system, replacing desktop
clutter with a few desktop folders that give quick access to everything on your
computer. Other applications may help you organize information, but only PowerOrganizer will organize your stuff automatically while giving you the easiest
interface to manually reorganize and move things around.

The screenshots above show a desktop before and
after PowerOrganizer has organized everything.
PowerOrganizer automatically organizes all your programs for quick access and
eliminates desktop clutter.
Organize
Your Applications
PowerOrganizer will organize your applications for quick and easy access. Each folder created by PowerOrganizer is based on a
functional grouping such as Internet, Utilities, Games, Development Tools,
etc. as appropriate for the applications you have installed and the type of user
you are.

Remove
Desktop Clutter
You can use PowerOrganizer to remove clutter from your desktop by deleting
duplicate and dead shortcuts. Dead shortcuts link to files or programs that no longer exist. You
can choose to have PowerOrganizer automatically classify new applications you
install as well as remove unneeded shortcuts so that your desktop remains
organized and uncluttered automatically. See Removing
Dead Shortcuts for more detail.
Now
That I’ve Organized, How Do I Access Things?
Once the folders are set up, you can access any of your installed applications
quickly by right-clicking on the appropriate desktop folder and selecting an
item from the cascading menu. See Navigating Folders for details.
Even if your
screen is covered with windows, you can access everything easily by
right-clicking on the Start Button. See Start Button Desktop Menu for
detail.
Internet, Programs, Utilities
and Recent Folders are some of the folders created by PowerOrganizer on the
desktop. Right-click on any folder to quickly access anything within that
folder.
Right-click on the Internet desktop
folder to access internet programs, communication tools, and your Favorite
and most recently visited web sites. The Utilities
folder will have shortcuts to all system utilities, as well as a submenu for all
Control Panel items. The desktop Programs folder has links to applications that
are not related to internet/communications or utilities. Applications are
grouped logically into subfolders for easy, logical access. The way PowerOrganizer organizes applications depends on what software you have installed and
the Primary Use Of this Computer you
filled in when you installed Power Drawers. It will organize differently if you
indicate you are accountant versus a home user primarily interested in
games.
Organizer also creates a desktop folder called Recent Folders that
contains shortcuts to recent-accessed files and folders. Right-clicking on Recent
Folders greatly speeds up your access to frequently-used files and folders.
See Recent Folders.
