Features
\ Start Button Desktop Menu
When
your screen is covered by windows, it is inconvenient to minimize everything
just to access files and folders on your desktop. Power Drawers improves this
situation. Just right-click on the Start Button for a menu of everything on your
desktop and all subfolders. Since My Computer, Network Places and Recent Folders
are on the desktop, this menu gives you access to everything on your computer,
as shown on the screenshot on the right. Anything on your desktop appears on the
Start Button Desktop menu. You can customize this menu by putting shortcuts to
favorite folders or files on your desktop.
Use the Recent Folders submenu on the Start Button Desktop Menu to access
recently-used folders and files. Recent Folders is a dynamically-generated list
of your favorite folders and files created by Power Drawers. See Recent
Folders for details.
If you’re working full screen and want to open any document or app, right-click on the Windows Start Button and
traverse the menus to the
item you want.
The normal Start Menu you get by left-clicking on the Start button is not
affected by this feature. Another way to access anything on your desktop or in
desktop folders is the Quick Launch Bar. See Quick
Launch Bar for details.
